Hundreds of Palestinians have reportedly been killed in an airstrike that struck a large hospital in\u00a0Gaza\u00a0according to the\u00a0Hamas-run Health Ministry, but while Hamas blamed Israel, the IDF has denied responsibility.<\/p>\n
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accused Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) of striking the Gazan hospital. He said, “The entire world should know: It was barbaric terrorists in Gaza that attacked the hospital in Gaza, and not the IDF.”<\/p>\n
Now, however, Hezbollah \u2014 an Iran-backed movement based in Lebanon \u2014 has reportedly called for an “unprecedented day of anger” in response to this attack.<\/p>\n
Hezbollah said in a statement: “Let tomorrow, Wednesday, be a day of rage against the enemy,\u201d Hezbollah said in a statement while encouraging Muslims all over the world to “move immediately to streets and squares to express intense anger.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response to Hezbollah’s call, Al Arabiya reports hundreds have taken to the streets of Akwar outside the U.S. Embassy while chanting “death to America” and “death to Israel.”<\/p>\n
At one point, the news publisher claims, authorities had to dispel the protestors with tear gas.<\/p>\n
But that hasn’t stopped additional protests from cropping up, including in Sidon and Tyre \u2014 two prominent locations for Palestinian refugees to congregate.<\/p>\n
Protestors have also been spotted covering their faces with Palestinian flags to protect themselves from inhaling the gas.<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati has declared Wednesday (October 18) a national day of mourning in honor of the Palestinians who were killed at the hospital in an air strike.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the IDF did not take responsibility for the attack on the hospital. In a statement, it said: “From an analysis of the IDF’s operational systems, an enemy rocket barrage was carried out towards Israel, which passed in the vicinity of the hospital when it was hit.<\/p>\n “According to intelligence information, from several sources we have, the PIJ organization is responsible for the failed [rocket] fire that hit the hospital.”<\/p>\n
