Police have issued an image of a man they are looking to identify after a mother was allegedly bitten by a bulldog-type dog after her daughter was shouted at for cycling past too closely.<\/p>\n
A man and a woman reportedly shouted at the woman’s young daughter who they said was riding too close to their dog in a park.<\/p>\n
Describing the animal as a ‘bulldog-type dog’, police said an argument ensued resulting in\u00a0the pet allegedly biting the mother on the leg, causing bruising.<\/p>\n
The pensioner is said to have attempted to hit the victim with a dog lead during the row in Meyrick Park, Bournemouth, Dorset.<\/p>\n

The police image shows an elderly man with long white hair in a red coat and light coloured trousers next to a Bulldog-type dog.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police have urged anyone who recognises the man in the image to come forward.<\/p>\n

Police community support investigator Craig Evans, of Bournemouth police, said: ‘We are now issuing an image of a man that we are keen to speak to.<\/p>\n
‘I would ask anyone who recognises him to please get in contact with Dorset Police as we are keen to establish the full circumstances of what happened..’<\/p>\n
