A white tent had been erected next to the swimming pool and hot tub in the backyard.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As night descended, Perry&#8217;s 82-year-old actor father John Bennett Perry was joined by the Friends star&#8217;s mom, Suzanne, and stepdad Keith Morrison who appeared to be in shock as they pulled up to the home.<\/p>\n<p>A coroner&#8217;s vehicle was also seen at the house as family, friends and fans grappled with the loss of the beloved actor.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Sources said he was found in a jacuzzi at the home but that no drugs were discovered at the scene &#8211; and there was no indication of foul play.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/29\/03\/77132963-12684805-image-a-5_1698550955234.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Matthew Perry &#8216;s father, 82, was seen arriving at his son&#8217;s LA home looking stricken just hours after the Friends star&#8217;s death. Yeah. So, I didn&#8217;t blame myself quite yet. But\u2026&#8217; in an interview with NBC in 2004.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Their long-distance relationship meant Matthew mainly saw his father on TV, as he revealed: &#8216;That was mostly the way that I saw my father when I was young&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;On TV shows, and you know, getting shot through a door on Mannix, or something like that. That&#8217;s my Dad.&#8217; He said he still idolized his father.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>People magazine once dubbed Matthew and John &#8216;the sexiest father and son&#8217; in a photo shoot they participated in. Perry said: &#8216;That was one of the best moments I&#8217;ve ever experienced.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Just because I get to show up to that photo shoot with my father. He&#8217;s very bright. That was always the case as he was growing up,&#8217; Morrison said. &#8216;we love having him around.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The father of six used to take Matthew to hockey games in Ottawa\u00a0on Saturday mornings.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;He was the one who scored all the goals. He was the guy. The same on the tennis court. He was extremely, extremely good on the tennis court and very intense.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When Matthew went through a challenging three-month period of bed rest following a gastrointestinal surgery, Morrison was by his side.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;We were able to be with him a lot of the time during that period, which I think was beneficial for everyone,&#8217; says Morrison. &#8216;It brought the whole family closer, and we all got to be there to support him.
