His bleak assessment came as the UK\u2019s AI Safety Summit got under way at Bletchley Park yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>World leaders, leading AI experts and tech industry bosses will attend the landmark two-day summit called by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.<\/p>\n<p>US vice president Kamala Harris, European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen, Ukraine\u2019s deputy \u00administer for digital transformation, Georgii Dubynskyi, and, controversially, a Chinese technology \u00administer are attending.<\/p>\n<p>The two-day gathering, held in Buckinghamshire at the home of Britain\u2019s Second World War codebreakers, is the first global summit on artificial intelligence safety.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Sunak is expected to use discussions as the basis for a global advisory board for AI regulation.
