Netflix\u00a0viewers have been blown away by a ‘mysterious’ new British thriller, with fans labelling lead actress Rose Williams ‘captivating’.<\/p>\n
The film, based in the quaint English countryside, has been available to watch on the steaming platform since November 1.<\/p>\n
Directed by Nour Wazzi, Locked In features some familiar faces in its cast, including Famke Janssen, Rose Williams, Finn Cole and Anna Friel.<\/p>\n
Adapted from SJ Watson’s novel Before I Go to Sleep, the mind-bending thriller tells the story of an ex-Hollywood actress Katherine (Famke Janssen) who is supposedly suffering with locked-in syndrome.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Katherine is not able to move a single inch of her body – only her eyes, after being hit by a car.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Thanks to her determined nurse, Nicky (Anna Friel), Katherine is able to communicate via blinking and a letter board.<\/p>\n
In a Morse code style, the former actress blinks a sentence to her caretaker, alleging a murder has taken place.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Over the course of the suspense inducing thriller we catch glimpses of the actress’ life, shortly after she adopted her late best friend’s child, Lina (Rose Williams).<\/p>\n
Lina is enamoured by the ex-thespian and swiftly becomes close friend’s with Katherine’s chronically ill step-son, Jamie (Finn Cole).<\/p>\n
The pair eventually tie the knot to the displeasure of step-mother, Katherine, as her stepson is next in line to inherit his late father’s manor home – where all three reside.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The once close bond between Lina and Katherine quickly disintegrates, with the step-mother branding her a ‘golddigger’.<\/p>\n
In a strange twist, the young woman also begins to develop a tight bond with her husband’s doctor, Dr Robert Lawrence (Alex Hassell).<\/p>\n
Tragedies continue to strike Katherine’s family in a series of mind-warping events that is sure to leave viewers on the edge of their seats.<\/p>\n

Another thriller, adapted from the video game, Five Nights At Freddy’s was recently on the receiving end of positive feedback from fans.<\/p>\n
Audiences went wild for the adaptation of the\u00a0game series – originally created by Scott Cawthon in 2014.<\/p>\n
The movie sees security guard Matt Schmidt, taking up his new role at\u00a0Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria.<\/p>\n
However, during his first shift at the formerly popular 80’s restaurant, Schmidt soon realises getting through the night won’t be an easy task.\u00a0<\/p>\n
His spooky adventure is made even more challenging, as his 10-year-old sister Abby (Piper Rubio) tags along, as the security guard dives further into the unsolved disappearance of his brother.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
