Listen to The Hook<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tyson Fury dubbed Oleksandr Usyk an &#8216;ugly little sausage man&#8217; as he hurled insults at his Ukrainian opponent ahead of their press conference confirming their long-awaited clash.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Gypsy King was due to tussle with Uysk on December 23 after nearly a year&#8217;s worth of negotiations between the two camps.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But plans were hurriedly rescheduled after Fury was put to the test against Francis Ngannou in October&#8217;s &#8216;Battle of the Baddest&#8217; in Riyadh.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The MMA star took the British fighter the distance in 10 rounds, even dropping the lineal heavyweight champion to the canvas &#8211; but Fury eventually saw off his opponent to claim victory by split decision.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Fury and Usyk &#8211; who was ringside to watch his foe&#8217;s less-than-perfect performance in Saudi Arabia &#8211; are set to confirm a new date for their meeting at a press conference on Thursday afternoon, thought to be February 17.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/16\/16\/77889555-12758201-image-a-7_1700153090311.jpg\" height=\"544\" width=\"306\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/16\/16\/77889553-12758201-image-m-6_1700153085408.jpg\" height=\"544\" width=\"306\"><\/p>\n<p>Tyson Fury (left) hurled insults at Oleksandr Uysk and his camp (right) ahead of a press conference announcing their long-awaited fight<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/16\/16\/77889539-12758201-image-a-2_1700153006315.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The two heavyweights were originally scheduled to meet on December 23, but the fight has been rescheduled<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/16\/16\/77889631-12758201-image-a-8_1700153100076.jpg\" height=\"422\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Usyk was in the audience to watch Fury almost falter when put to the test by Francis Ngannou<\/p>\n<p>But ahead of linking up on stage, Fury was full of fire as he crossed paths with Usyk and his camp ahead of time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Sausage!&#8217; Fury shouted down at his opponent from a mezzanine as he spotted the Ukrainian being interviewed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The insult was soon flung back at him by members of Usyk&#8217;s camp, who called up &#8216;Sausage! Sausage!&#8217; to Fury in response.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Usyk&#8217;s a sausage,&#8217; Fury continued, with a man in Uysk&#8217;s set up compelling the Morecambe-based fighter to &#8216;come to try it&#8217;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Ugly boy. Hugh it out. Come on, give me a hug brother.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Afterwards he added: &#8216;I needed that&#8217;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Whilst fans will have to weight until 2024 to watch their undoubtedly explosive contest, their vacated initial date of December 23 should provide a card of worthy substitutes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At a press conference in London on Wednesday evening, a &#8216;Day of Reckoning&#8217;
