Black Friday week is upon us, so ‘tis the season to be inundated with tech deals. It’s overwhelming, and not every deal out there is actually a good deal – but we’ve found a huge £120 saving on one of our favourite Android phones that brings the price well under £300.

The Nothing Phone (1) is usually £399 but this Black Friday season it’s available for just £279 direct from the company itself. The offer runs until Cyber Monday, which is 27 November 2023. But hurry – Nothing warns us that quantities are limited.

Save a huge £120 on the excellent Nothing Phone (1) Android smartphone, with dual cameras, big display, clean software, and distinctive transparent design with programmable lights. While stocks last!

Don’t let the cheap price put you off as the Phone (1) is no slouch. It can do absolutely everything admirably despite its mid-range specs, handling the everyday apps we all use with ease – just don’t expect to play very high-end mobile games. This price gets you 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, but you can also get one with 8GB/256GB for £319 (saving £130) or 12GB/256GB for £449 (saving £50).

On the back of the black or white model (your choice) is transparent glass that shows you some inner components as well as a series of white strip lights. Nothing calls these Glyphs, and you can set them to show various things such as notifications and battery percentages.

Express.co.uk gave the phone a glowing four-star review, with tech editor Dave Snelling saying: “The Phone (1) is a total breath of fresh air in a market that’s now saturated by tedious devices that offer nothing unique.

“Its see-through styling will certainly turn heads and the glowing Glyph Interface is actually pretty useful with it alerting you to calls, texts and emails without looking at the display.

“In fact, it’s one of the most exciting devices we’ve seen in years!”
