<\/p>\nRussian President Vladimir Putin has reportedly being paying off the wives of Russian soldiers as they get more disgruntled with his military decisions. <\/p>\n
The wives of men serving as part of his invasion Ukraine are missing their husbands and questioning Putin\u2019s intentions. Reports claim they have been protesting in the streets of Russia to oppose the invasion, resulting in Putin and his allies attempting to clamp down on this. <\/p>\n
The invasion started in 2022 and there have been increasing claims that the troop\u2019s morale is at an all time low and are complaining about lack of equipment on the front line. The wives at home are catching onto their discomfort and aren\u2019t happy. <\/p>\n

A group called the Council of Mothers and Wives formed following the start of the conflict. They are comprised of women connected to the serving groups. They are the main culprits of the protests and are urging the Kremlin to rotate the troops and allow some longer serving men to return home.<\/p>\n
In November last year, the group stormed to the Ukrainian boarder by the Kharkiv region and created a demonstration to demand for the return on their sons and husbands. They had heard of the injuries taking place on the front line and wanted their family home.<\/p>\n
Last month, the protests continued with them taking to the streets of Moscow and putting on a demonstration despite the extremely tough law enforcements. This was quickly dispersed, but the message of returning their family was strongly heard. <\/p>\n

In response to these demands and with hopes to crush the protests, Putin has reportedly been strategically revealing information on the troops over the boarder. They have been discrediting claims of injuries online and the Russian Ministry of Defence says Russia is winning the war.<\/p>\n
Putin is also potentially paying off the women with cash in order to keep their claims of injuries quiet. The group was also given a fake warning label, "likely at the instigation of pro-Kremlin actors."<\/p>\n
