FORMER Wales rugby captain Brian Price has passed away at the age of 86.<\/p>\n
The second row, who was renowned for his skill in the line-out, led Newport to a famous victory over New Zealand in 1963.<\/p>\n
\n<\/p>\n
He then captained Wales to Triple Crown glory in 1965 and 1969.<\/p>\n
Price was also part of the British Lions side that toured Australia and New Zealand in 1966 – with the Welshman featuring in all four matches.<\/p>\n
He earned 32 caps for his country between 1961 and 1969.<\/p>\n
He was also famous for punching Ireland's Noel Murphy in a Five Nations match at Cardiff Arms Park in front of King Charles – then the 20-year-old Prince of Wales – in 1969.<\/p>\n
