Opening up about the rumours during an appearance on Loose Women, Danielle explained: "We've been laughing so much. No, we've been laughing so much bless him.

"We come out and you go out with all the friends and family, but me and Pete are just good friends. Have been for years, but we've been having a good giggle about it."

Pete also addressed the rumours on the podcast Staying Relevant, where he denied them outright.

He stated: "Just on my experience for the whole f****** thing, we'll go into that another time properly. I just want to point out that I didn't sh** anyone's wife."

Sam shared: "Pete got linked to every single person out there. He got linked to Sarah – Nick's [Pickard] girlfriend, he got linked to Danielle [Harold], he got linked to my girlfriend Zara [McDermott], he got linked to Rochelle [Humes] at one point. I don't think there were anymore women out there to get linked to."

He added with a laugh: "Do you know what my favourite thing about this is… I've gone into the jungle and Pete's flown out there to be there for me and it's literally he can't get away from it. He's come to Australia and it's 'Pete Wicks linked with whoever the f*** he's linked with', he'll never outrun it."

Danielle and Pete sparked romance rumours after they were snapped looking rather cosy at Cali Beach, a beach club in Surfers Paradise.

While at the beach club the duo seemed to have loads to talk about and never stopped laughing and giggling together during the event. After more than one round of champagne glasses and sun-soaked cocktails, things got a little looser for the excitable I'm A Celeb crew.

Pete was spotted leaning in as the pair cuddled up together by the wall of the outdoor club. Seemingly not bothered by the potential romance rumours swirling, Danielle even jumped onto Pete's back as she wrapped her arms around his neck and posed for a series of snaps.
