I Dream Of Jeannie star Barbara Eden, 92, looks youthful as she attends gala in Los Angeles nearly 60 YEARS after first starring on iconic sitcom
Nearly 60 years after she first landed the role of a genie named Jeannie, Barbara Eden is still looking youthful at 92 years of age.
The actress – who starred in the hit sitcom I Dream of Jeannie for fice from 1965 to 1970 – hit the red carpet at the 16th Annual National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Awards Gala at Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Press Club announced in November that the actress – who was spotted out in Los Angeles last month – will receive the Legend award.
Eden stepped out in in a cherry red suit coat over a white top, with a pearl necklace dangling around her neck.
Her blonde locks fell to just below her shoulders, completing her look with matching red pants and red pumps with a gold handbag.

Eden also posed on the red carpet with her husband of 32 years, Jon Eicholtz, who opted for a black shirt and jacket with grey pants and black shoes.
The actress also posed with Los Angeles Press Club president emeritus Robert Kovacik and current president Lisa Richwine.
Eden joins previous Legend winners such as Carol Burnett, Ann-Margret, Angela Lansbury, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Marla Gibbs and Bob Barker.
‘Barbara Eden charmed audiences in her starring role in I Dream of Jeannie, a show that endures as a bright spot in the history of television,’ LA Press Club President Lisa Richwine said. ‘We are thrilled to honor her with our Legend Award.’
Eden started her career in 1956 with a string of guest-starring spots in shows like I Love Lucy, Gunsmoke and Perry Mason, before her iconic I Dream of Jeannie.
The NBC Television series launched in 1965 and became an instant hit with fans and critics alike.
The network series ran for five seasons (139 episodes) and has been airing continuously on cable and in syndication in the United States and abroad for more than five decades.
She reprised her Jeannie role in the 1985 TV movie I Dream of Jeannie… Fifteen Years Later and the 1991 TV movie I Still Dream of Jeannie.

During her illustrious career, Barbara has starred in 25 feature films, five network TV series, 19 top-rated network made-for-television movies, including the Hallmark Television special Always and Forever, and was a recurring guest star in Lifetime’s long-running Army Wives TV series.
She has appeared at many of the major hotel resorts and casinos including Lake Tahoe, Atlantic City and Las Vegas where she headlined at the MGM Grand, Caesar’s Palace, Riviera, Frontier and Landmark Hotels and Casinos. She also top-lined a number of dates at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe and the Trump Resort Casino in Atlantic City among others.
