Kendra Wilkinson 'hospitalized after suffering panic attack'

Kendra Wilkinson ‘hospitalized after suffering panic attack’: Hugh Hefner’s ex and former Playboy star ‘seeking medical help’ after becoming ‘overwhelmed balancing work and family’

Kendra Wilkinson had a panic attack and was hospitalized due to feeling overburdened by juggling her work and family life, it has been claimed.

The 38-year-old former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner, who shares two children with her ex-husband Hank Baskett, is still in the hospital at present according to TMZ.

Although she rose to fame as a reality star on The Girl Next Door, which documented her life at the Playboy Mansion, she is currently working in real estate.

It has been alleged that Kendra spent a sleepless night on Tuesday, suffered a panic attack and voluntarily went to the hospital Wednesday.

A source has claimed that Kendra, in a state of distress, entered a Los Angeles era emergency room and began begging to see a doctor.

DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for comment.

Kendra now shares two children, Hank Jr., 13, and Alijah, nine, with her ex-husband Hank Baskett, who was said to be at her side at the hospital this Wednesday.

She has been forthright in the past about her struggles with mental health, including ‘severe depression’ as a teenager that drove her to ‘a couple’ suicide attempts.

Kendra first launched her career at the Playboy Mansion, starring on the reality show The Girls Next Door about Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends.

She, Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt all became boldface names while dating the Playboy founder and featuring on the E! program.

Hank, who was then an NFL player, tied the knot with Kendra at the Playboy Mansion in 2009 about two weeks after she announced she was pregnant with their son.

The marriage was buffeted by drama early on, including the 2010 leak of Kendra’s sex tape, which she had recorded at 18 before her relationship with Hank.

‘It’s hard on him because it involves another guy, of course, and it’s hard on him because of our son and everything,’ she confessed on reality TV.

The couple then nearly split up in 2014 when it emerged Hank had cheated with a transgender model during Kendra’s second pregnancy.

Although they mended fences after the cheating scandal, their relationship ultimately fell apart for good in 2018, resulting in a divorce finalized in 2019.

She showered praise on Hank in her Instagram divorce announcement on ‘the last day of my marriage to this beautiful man.’

This summer, on the podcast On Display With Melissa Gorga, Kendra revealed that she plunged into a dark emotional phase when her marriage collapsed.

Her divorce coincided with the end of her reality show Kendra On Top, at a time when she had no other series lined up.

The all but simultaneous end of her marriage and job ‘triggered my depression’ and left her feeling ‘so lost,’ Kendra explained to Melissa.

‘I went through a divorce, lost everything I knew, which was my TV show. I had a TV show every year until my divorce,’ she shared, via People.

‘Then my divorce happened and all of a sudden, now I’m left with no marriage, I’m left with no show, I had to move into a little house – I didn’t understand what was going on and all of a sudden I had to do some intense healing.’

She ‘didn’t have everything I knew for a really long time’ and ‘didn’t know who I was,’ to the point ‘I didn’t even know how to be happy.’

Her children, she said, ‘gave me the purpose,’ motivating her to ‘stay alive, to keep going, to drive them to hockey and basketball and smile and watch them do everything. They’re the ones who kept my heart beating.’

On a 2015 episode of Kendra On Top, she was seen telling her therapist: ‘When I was a teenager, I battled some severe depression.’

She confessed that she ‘attempted suicide a couple times,’ ‘went to a mental institution,’ and struggled with ‘drugs, overdosing, slitting wrists, all that stuff.’

Kendra laid her soul bare about her fraught relationship with her mother Patti, saying with mounting fury: ‘I was a young f***ing girl. All I wanted was for my mom to say: “I love you, and I’m here for you.” I never got that.’
