Maya Jama appears to finally confirm Stormzy romance with adorable video

Love Island presenter Maya Jama and BRIT Award winning musician Stormzy were first linked back in 2015, and subsequently went on to date for four years.

At the time, they were one of the nation's favourite celebrity couples, and looked to be going from strength to strength. Stormzy even shared the sweetest post to Instagram in honour of the pair's third anniversary in January 2018. The now deleted caption read: "3 years with the love of my life," followed by a heart emoji.

However, to the dismay of fans everywhere, Maya and Stormzy decided to call it quits in 2019. It was speculated that the split was down to work pressures, with both wanting to focus on their growing careers.

But now four years later – and with their stars shining brighter than ever – it looks like the romance is back on for good. Perhaps because they've both achieved major success, are older, and have the capacity to navigate a relationship in the public eye better. (Maya told The Times earlier this year that they were "so young when [they] met, just beginning [their] careers," and that neither of them "knew it was going to be such a big thing.")

While speculation that they're back together has been circulating for a while now – they were spotted holding hands while on holiday in Greece last month – Maya's latest social media post seems to have confirmed everything.

The 29 year old took to Instagram to share a video of Stormzy welcoming Maya home after being away. Previous stories show the star sipping on tequila cocktails in the airport with a friend, plus practising some self care while on the flight.

The footage began with Stormzy standing in front of a bright yellow car while holding up and waving two homemade signs. As Maya moved closer, fans could easily read the message on the right, which read: "Maya Jama #1 fan."

The presenter's reaction was priceless, as viewers heard her laugh before gushing: "You are so cute!"

As Maya got closer to the car, she then said: "Thanks, put it down now I'm shy." However, Stormzy continued to celebrate her arrival, as he beamed and waved the signs up and down.

Well, if that's not confirmation that the two are firmly back on (the gesture also wins Stormzy major boyfriend points in our books), we don't know what is.
