The moment Aston Merrygold’s backflip goes VERY wrong – as JLS star slips and falls on his back live on tour
Aston Merrygold suffered a huge blunder while performing on stage during a JLS concert on Saturday.
The singer, 35, shocked fans when his attempt to backflip went terribly wrong, which led him to land flat on his back.
A clip has circulated around social media which shows the star slip on a step on stage, causing him to fail his backflip – which he normally lands correctly every time.
But despite the awful encounter, the JLS star managed to quickly get back up on his feet and continue performing with the group.
Oritsé Williams, 36, Marvin Humes, 38, and JB Gill, 36, continued the performance without even noticing what happened to Aston on stage.

Fans gushed to the comments, with some praising Aston for getting straight back up on his feet and getting on with the show.

Aston and Sarah-Lou announced they were expecting their third child in September with an Instagram video which showed their two sons Grayson, five, and Macaulay, three, finding out.
The boyband rose to fame on the X Factor in 2008, split in 2013, but later reunited for a UK tour in 2021.
Marvin, who is married to TV presenter Rochelle Humes, is father to Alaia-Mai, nine, Valentina Raine, six, and Blake, two.
Oritsé has a son Omre, eight, with his ex Aimée Jade (AJ) Azari.
While JB has two kids, a son Ace, seven, and a daughter, Chiara, three, with his dancer wife, Chloe Tangney.
