AC Milan history-maker BANNED from facing Newcastle in Champions League… and won't be able to play until March | The Sun
AC MILAN youngster Francesco Camarda is not eligible to face Newcastle in the Champions League next month due to a strict Uefa rule.
The 15-year-old made history at the weekend when he became the youngest Serie A player of all time.
Camarda was introduced in the 83rd minute of AC Milan's clash with Fiorentina to replace Luka Jovic.
But despite impressing fans during his short on-field cameo, the striker will not be able to represent the Italian giants in the Champions League.
A key Uefa rule states that a player cannot make his debut before the age of 16 and without a professional contract.
Camarda will not turn 16 until March, meaning he will not be able to make his Champions League debut until then.

Furthermore, he would have also been ineligible to represent AC Milan in the club's remaining group stage games due to a red card received during a Uefa Youth League clash with PSG Under-19's earlier this month.
It means that the teenager will not be available to face Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday or Newcastle next month.
Camarda's parents were in tears as they watched their son make his senior debut for AC Milan on Saturday evening.
Rossoneri won the match against Fiorentina 1-0 thanks to a goal from Theo Hernandez.
