During the 2007 ICC T20 World Cup, Dhoni made a huge mark leading the team to win their maiden title in the tournament.
It was also the time when he gained a massive fan following and his long hair became immensely popular – so much so that many fans tried to ape his long locks.
He changed his hairstyle after the tournament and since then, the former skipper has always sported short hair – until now.
Fans are considering Dhoni’s latest hair transformation a “lucky charm” for the Indian cricket team ahead of their journey in the ICC World Cup 2023.
The men in blue will begin the tournament playing against the Australian team on Sunday, October 8.
