Four killed and more injured as train smashes into people crossing train tracks
At least four people were killed after being hit by a train, leaving three more injured.
The horror incident, which occurred at 8.30pm in Barcelona last night (September 10), is believed to have left four dead from a group of seven stood on the tracks.
Seven people had been crossing the tracks outside of an authorised area between the Parets del Valles and Granollers stretch of railway line known as the R3 line, with police presence at the scene confirmed.

Of the four people killed, it is believed three men and a woman all around age 20 were fatally struck by the travelling vehicle, while three others were taken to hospital.
Those injured in the crash are believed to be in a "very serious" condition and are now fighting for their lives in hospital after crossing at an "unauthorised point".
Said unofficial crossing is believed to have been "on a curve and with difficult visibility", with the seven thought to be heading back from a music festival at the time of the fatal incident.
The seven had allegedly attended the Duro Techno Festival before making their way back from the Montmelo race track, with train services now suspended.
Police presence at the scene was confirmed while a Civil Protection spokesperson described the train suspension as due to "multiple collisions".
