A landlady of a hotel where two guests stripped their room of everything they could carry, grew suspicious when the duo checked in with no luggage.
Hotel landlady Natalie Newton, 43, was left stunned after two guests stripped their room of virtually everything in the newly-opened Dolphin Hotel in Pembroke Dock, West Wales.
Natalie said: ‘The only thing they didn’t take were the shampoo and soaps from the bathroom.
‘I can’t believe how cheeky they were – the man appears to be smiling into our CCTV camera on the stairs.
‘They were super-friendly when they checked in but I thought it was a bit strange because apart from the women’s handbag they had no luggage.
‘I just feel they are horrible individuals who rip the mickey out of hardworking people like me and my staff.’

They escaped with two fluffy white bath towels, two hand towels, an electric fan, two lamps, a kettle, tea caddy and a tower extension block with USB ports.
The ‘super friendly’ duo even took the remote control before scarpering with their haul – valued at £200.
Natalie has put the CCTV pictures on social media asking people to come forward to name and shame the room strippers.
The couple used Booking.com to reserve a room at the hotel however their card was declined before they arrived and the women presented a different card to Natalie when the pair tuned up at the hotel at 8.45pm last Saturday night.

They had no baggage and after going to their room for 10 minutes went to the bar and took their drinks into the beer garden so the man could smoke.
They were late checking out the next morning and had left by the time hotel staff went into the room.
Natalie said: ‘I couldn’t believe it – I’m so cross they took the expensive fluffy white towels I’d bought for all the rooms.
‘When we checked on the CCTV we saw they went back out to the car to fetch bags to load up everything from the room.
‘He had a holdall and she was carrying a bag for life.’
It meant Natalie couldn’t let out Room 3 at the Dolphin because it was stripped bare and she couldn’t replace the items until Monday morning.
The woman gave the hotel her mobile phone number and although it rings she is not picking up.

The hard-working couple said the hotel and restaurant is an overnight stopover and some of their customers are on their way to Ireland from the nearby ferry port.
But Natalie and Ben believe the room strippers had Welsh accents and may be from the Valleys 50 miles away.
They have given police CCTV and full descriptions of the couple who should be easy to identify because of their ‘scruffy appearance’.
Natalie said: ‘We hadn’t been open for long and then Covid struck – it’s not been easy.
‘We are struggling to keep our head above water so when so- called guests behave like this it’s sickening.
‘We will find out who they are – someone is going to recognise them. Shame on them when we do.’
Natalie is warning other hoteliers, air B&Bs and guesthouses in West Wales to be wary that the couple are in the area.
The woman has dark hair tied above her head, a leopard print top and spectacles. The man was in a blue North Face hoodie and navy baseball cap.
