Sir Roger Moore’s sons bear striking resemblance to late James Bond actor

Sir Roger Moore’s sons Geoffrey and Christian look just like the late James Bond star in a new series of snaps.

The pair posed together with Bond producer Barbara Broccoli last night as they attended the launch event for an auction of their late father’s collection of memorabilia.

Sir Roger, who died aged 89 back in 2017, portrayed agent 007 on film seven times between 1973 and 1985, following on from the late Sir Sean Connery in the role.

The star has married a total of four times, welcoming his children Geoffrey, Christian, and Deborah with his late third wife Luisa Mattioli.

57-year-old Geoffrey, who attended the event with his wife Loulou, looked strikingly similar to his late father, sporting a notable tan and a dark crop of hair.

Meanwhile, it seems Christian, 50, also bares a resemblance to their father, with a strong jawline and equally thick head of hair.

“A father, a friend, debonair movie star and ambassador was Roger, all four seasons all in one day,” Geoffrey said in honour of his late father at last night’s event.

Photographs show a number of highly desirable collector’s items at the event, including the dinner suit and the white ski suit the late actor wore in A View To A Kill.

According to the Mirror, the collection comprises of more than 180 possessions, is estimated to be worth about £420,000 in total.

The items are set to go on sale tomorrow at the Bonhams auction house to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Sir Roger’s debut as James Bond in Live And Let Die.

With his family’s blessing, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity.

Geoffrey previously opened up to Express.co.uk about how the creative minds behind Bond allowed Sir Roger to play to his strengths after taking on the role from Sir Sean.

“The writers – Richard (Maibaum) and such were terrific writers and he said, ‘It’s ridiculous to write with Sean in mind for this Bond because then it’s sort of mimicking,’” Jaffa explained.

“He said, ‘No, let’s write around Roger.’ So he added his own thing and I think that’s predominantly why it worked.

“Each decade represents a reflection of the time and so Roger’s timing, I think, was perfect.”
