Missiles downed by Putin’s army hours after mail depot horror kills six

Russian military officials have claimed to have shot down three missiles fired by Ukraine at the peninsular.

Pro-Russian governor, Vladimir Saldo, posted on Telegram: “Three enemy missiles heading toward Crimea were downed.”

The Ukrainian missile attack came after Russian strikes killed at least six civilians during an attack on a mail-sorting warehouse in the region of Kharkiv on Saturday.

Separate Russian missile attacks killed two more people near Bakhmut.

An Armed Forces of Ukraine spokesperson, Natalia Humeniuk acknowledged that a total of 36 Russian missiles had been fired in just 24 hours in a mass barrage which targeted the south of the country.
